John Gardner has over 18 years’ experience in all major aspects of public affairs, ranging from top-level party political advice and participation, to a senior management role in a leading UK political consultancy with major international clients.
An Oxford graduate, John now manages broader communication disciplines with one of the UK’s most respected and controversial sectoral trade bodies, at the forefront of the global economy and EU political/regulatory developments.
His experience includes Acting Correspondence Secretary for Conservative Party Leader (William Hague), Special Adviser at Ministry of Defence to Defence Secretary Tom King as well as Political Correspondence Secretary to the Prime Minister. As Director of Fleishman Hillard (formerly Market Access) his clients included Lockheed Martin and Scottish Power.
John joined CIA (Chemical Industries Association) in 1997 and is currently Director of Advocacy and Communications.
